QUARTET PLAYER 2 by Dan Panke Previous version of QUARTET PLAYER 2 had difficulty loading in some machines and gave an 'OUT OF MEMORY' display. It didn't seem to be a problem with a particular TOS version but rather with how the individual machine managed its memory. This version corrects the problem and will now work with any ST or STe. Use of QUARTET PLAYER 2 is almost self-explanitory. Just a few quick notes. 1) The file 'Q_PLAY2.PRG' can be anywhere but the 'SINGSONG.PRG' must be in the same folder as your voice (.SET) file(s). The '*.4V', and '*.SET' files can be anywhere as long as they can be accessed without swapping disks. 2) If you want a text file displayed with your song, create a text file, name it the same as your song file, but add a 'T' (for Text) after the .4V extender. Example: MISSION.4V (song file) MISSION.4VT (text file) This text file must also be in the same folder as your song file. For a good selection of QUARTET SONGS and VOICE SETS, call the ST-PLUG BBS at (613) 731-2779. Any comments or suggestions, drop me a line...
